Frequently Asked Questions

  • How can you help me with my application?
We assist clients in preparing for, drafting, editing, and ultimately submitting their application to all appropriate parties and agencies. While that is a lot of help with a lot of details, it really only represents a small portion of the application help you'll receive. Much of the guidance you'll get will involve community relations and anticipating that 11th hour surprise that routinely arrives during most application processes. Applying for any type of cannabis license has a set of unique challenges that only people who have had successful applications can fully understand. Thankfully, you won't have to go it alone!
  • How can you help fund my cannabis operation?
We have access and relationships with private lenders who want and are already participating in the legal cannabis industry. In short, they are well funded and seek to invest in quality cannabis operations.
  • My state hasn’t passed legal or adult use legislation yet. Is it too early for me to “plug in” to the cannabis community?
No, it’s the perfect time. With the majority of states either decriminalizing cannabis or passing laws making it legal for medical or recreational use, most industry experts believe it is only a matter of time before federal legislation is passed or more likely, your state catches up. Being part of and fully aware of the local landscape before it is crowded is a very good idea. Perhaps you’ll be the one helping to establish your own cannabis business community in your area?
  • What if my resume has no cannabis-related work history, can I get hired or get a loan in the cannabis industry?
Maybe. But you can increase your odds of employment by showing that you’re serious about having a career in the cannabis industry by attending legitimate online or in-person cannabis business training. Yes, you are able to list a cannabis training certificate on your resume and you’ll like meet some great local people during your studies. And you should consider that using professional services (like ours) can drastically help you to better understand and to fully leverage your options.
  • How is the cannabis industry different from others?
Well, there aren't that many "old timers" and to date, there aren't that many "remember when" type stories. Also, the Federally "sort of" illegal status vs. the state by state legality does present some challenges. Thankfully, these remain challenges and not insurmountable barriers--you just need to have someone who knows the rules, where the reliable people are, and how to connect some dots! That's us!
  • How can you help with so many different areas?
We are part of a network that was formed in 2017. Our "Rolodex" (contact list for the younger folks) is packed with good people who want to help others join and excel in the legal cannabis industry. These people are happy resources for us to get things done. We don't do it all ourselves--we have tested and quality people to help us!
  • I’d like to get started. What should I do?
Visiting us here was a good start! We applaud you! Now, simply visit our contact us page and complete the form and we'll be in touch! And please remember that we encourage you to ask questions. So much of this is new and it wasn't that long ago when all of this seemed impossible, so if you are new to this industry--or are trying to join--asking questions is not only smart, but encouraged!
